With the rapid development of industrial automation, new energy vehicles, and smart home appliances, BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) motors are rapidly replacing traditional brushed motors, becoming a key source of power for various applications. Across industrial motor commutation, medical device motion control, home appliance drives, and contactless switching and position detection scenarios in consumer electronics, the upgrading of downstream applications has placed higher demands on Hall-effect switch ICs: high sensitivity, high consistency, wide operating voltage ranges, and stable temperature characteristics have become the industry’s core requirements.

Maxic’s GH2102/GH2103 are a pair of high-sensitivity bipolar latch Hall-effect switch ICs with opposite sensing polarities. With advanced BiCMOS fabrication technology they feature high sensitivity (±16Gs), wide operating voltage range (3V to 30V), and wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +125°C). Leveraging outstanding stability, consistency, and resistance to mechanical stress, GH2102/GH2103 can effectively replace mainstream competing products from international brands while providing better cost-effectiveness. They can be widely utilized across various industrial control, new energy, home appliances, and consumer electronics applications, including BLDC motor commutation, position detection, switch detection, and liquid level detection.

■ High Sensitivity, Precise Detection
GH2102/GH2103 feature a high sensitivity of ±16Gs, accurately responding to weak magnetic field variations to ensure precise switching control across BLDC motor commutation, position detection, and related applications. The high sensitivity allows the IC to operate reliably even under large air-gap installation conditions, reducing the required precision for system assembly.
■ Wide Voltage and Temperature Ranges, Stable and Reliable
The ICs support a wide operating voltage range of 3V to 30V, applicable to mainstream power rails such as 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and 24V without requiring external level shifters. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, they operate reliably in harsh environments ranging from frigid outdoor conditions to high-temperature motor surroundings. In addition, the ICs provide excellent stability when temperature varies, maintaining consistent magnetic switch points across high and low temperatures.

■ Selectable Polarity, High Consistency
GH2102 and GH2103 feature opposite sensing polarities, allowing flexible selection useless to specific magnetic circuit designs. Both ICs exhibit excellent consistency with minimal batch-to-batch variation, reducing the complexity of system debugging and calibration. The built-in voltage regulator further ensures stable output performance across diverse power supply conditions.

GH2102/GH2103 further enrich Maxic's magnetic sensor product portfolio. Leveraging core capabilities including high sensitivity, wide operating voltage and temperature ranges, selectable sensing polarity, and excellent consistency, they meet diverse requirements for BLDC motor commutation and position detection across industrial control, new energy, home appliances, consumer electronics, and other applications .
